As an extension to the brand guidelines, we were asked to design the look and feel of the organization's Thought Leadership papers. The design is adapted for both ISO and U.S. paper sizes to be used in all RRA offices around the world.
To reflect the variety of topics that the papers feature, we designed 5 bespoke patterns, inspired by the organization's mission statements, for the covers. Each pattern is available in a dark and light version.
These papers cover a wide range of subject matters and vary in length, from mostly texts to mostly diagrams with minimal texts. The design that we come up with has to accommodate these constraints. For instance, we provided separate templates for a one-column and 2-column papers, typically used for more text-heavy and papers.
A custom world map, with all locations mapped out, is designed especially for the papers. The map comes in a dark and light version (shown here).
The style guide is available as a printed booklet, digital pdf and an InDesign file. The printed style guide is designed using the same InDesign template we provided for the in-house designers.
