A series of stamps that celebrates mathematics. The subject is inspired by the Eames’ 1961 exhibition of the same title.
This stamp series takes a look at some of the non-typographic visual representations of numbers and how they relate to the units and measurement systems we use today.
A design guide, outlining the concept behind the current stamp designs and all typographic styles used in this series, is included for other designers to design the next set of stamps, and to make edits should the values of the stamps change.
Mathematica is completed as part of the MFA in Graphic Design at Rhode Island School of Design.
