RRA Event Identity Series

Russell Reynolds Associate Annual Event Identity Series
Russell Reynolds Associates is a global consultation firm specializing in executive search and succession planning. Every year, the firm hold an annual all consultants meeting in one of the cities that they are based at. I had the opportunity to design 2 of the event identities.

2015 Shareholders Meeting in Berlin
The challenge for us it to create a balanced sub-brand identity system that is a more dynamic version of its day-to-day counterpart, this event is, after all, a celebration. And we need to do this without going too far as to lose the essence of the new core identity,
For the Identity, we thought of focusing on the logo mark, the intertwining double Rs, using it as a major graphic element. However, instead of using the logo mark as is, we thought of zooming into the different forms and intersections found within the mark, to create a more dynamic visual identity.

The stage is made of vertical panels which are layered and set at varying depths. This adds dimensionality to the colored stripes and elevate the branding element. Final design is featured at C&G Partners' website listed at the end of the page.

2015 Dinner Event Concept Development
We were also tasked to design the dinner event that took place the following day at the Palazzo Italia. Inspired by the concrete walls of the space and the street arts of Berlin, we decided on the theme of graffiti art, with a "corporate touch". The sketches shown below focuses on the intent of the event itself: the meeting of the company's shareholders from all over the world.

A quick sketch of the wall graffiti spelling out all the office locations around the world. Neon colors texts are drawn over the stripes in brand colors, to relate this dinner event to the main event happening the day before.

For print collateral, such as seating numbers and menu, we proposed using different crops of the graffiti as background images. This will tie-in the print pieces with the design of the space, creating a more cohesive experience.
The following images shows the final graffiti art and print collateral design.

2016 Main Event Design Development
The location for 2016 event was San Francisco. The event title is All Consultants Meeting, ACM.
For this event, the client has very specific requests beyond following their brand guidelines. Design brief: must show multiple San Francisco landmarks + design inspired by pixels and technology + must use only the 3 brand colors and white.

Earlier iteration of design direction. The final design uses a different event title and tagline.

Final collateral design for the event. The set includes luggage tags, name tags, welcome note and card. This year, we also designed custom app pages for the event. Shown are sample splash page, wallpaper and icons used within the app.
