The Book is Past and Present
This is an experiment on how to disrupt the reading experience. By adding reflective pages into a photo book the experience of the book is drastically altered. The book is now a container of images from a specific place and time in the past, as well as, live images of the present.
The printed images are photos of a zen garden, The Innisfree Garden in Millbrook, NY, USA. The images reflected on the mirror pages are the surrounding of the reader (in this case the RISD Fleet Library)
